PRODUCT LIABILITY-JEEP ROLLOVER WHILE PULLING TRAILER: Plaintiff claimed that she was a passenger in a jeep manufactured by defendant, which rolled over while pulling a defendant U-Haul trailer. Plaintiff claimed that the jeep was unsuitable in design and not suitable to pull a trailer. Defendant claimed that the jeep rolled over while plaintiff and driver friend switched seats while the vehicle was in motion. Plaintiff is a white female, thirty-two years of age. She suffered injuries to her left side, hemiplegia, headaches and dizziness. DR. ROBERT LESSNE, Vocational Rehabilitation specialist computed plaintiff's need for future medical and rehabilitative care to be $2,947,153.00.

Case settled prior to trial: Defendant- U-Haul $100,000.00. Defendant- AMC $500,000.00 cash and a $2,250.00 monthly annuity.

RESPONSABILIDAD DEL PRODUCTO - EL JEEP SE VOLCÓ MIENTRAS HALABA UN REMOLQUE: La Demandante declaró que iba de pasajero en un jeep construido por el Demandado, el cual se volcó mientras halaba el remolque U-Haul del Demandado. La Demandante declaró que el jeep no era apropiado por su diseño para halar un remolque. El Demandado declaró que el jeep se volcó cuando la Demandante y un chofer amigo cambiaban de asientos mientras el vehículo estaba en marcha. La Demandante es una mujer blanca de treinta y dos años de edad. Sufrió lesiones en el lado izquierdo, hemiplejia, dolores de cabeza y mareos. El DR. ROBERT LESSNE, especialista en Rehabilitación Vocacional calculó que la Demandante necesitará para su futura atención médica y rehabilitativa $2,947,153.00.

Se llegó a un arreglo de la causa antes del juicio: Demandado - U-Haul $100,000.00. Demandado - AMC $500,000.00 en efectivo y $2,250.00 en pagos mensuales fijos.
