Mr. Alsina embraces a diverse international background, having spent a better part of his formative years in Argentina, Venezuela and Thailand, among other international cruising hotspots. In this regard, Mr. Alsina is a key asset in our maritime law firm practice. He brings the experience, language and culture of those regions of the world to bear for our international clients from the Pacific and South America, and clients injured aboard ships in those parts of the world, offering our clients a unique advantage in their cases.

Practice Philosophy

Mr. Alsina summed up his philosophy towards representation succinctly in a recent interview:

“There is no greater satisfaction for a trial lawyer than to go in with all the odds against you – the big name firm on the other side, the case law supposedly “black-and-white” that you are supposed to lose – and your argument and your creativity and your hard work turns it all around and you make new law and you are able to help your client. That is always the best day in the life of a trial lawyer.”
