Stacey Margulies - Of Counsel
Stacey Margulies graduated University of Miami with a bachelors degree in nursing and then worked as a surgical nurse. She then attended and graduated the University of Miami School of Law where she graduated Cum Laude and was a national finalist in the nationwide negotiation competition among law students. Following her graduation from law school in 1997, Stacey went on to represent doctors and hospitals throughout the State of Florida with one of the largest and most respected medical malpractice defense firms in the State. Since 2001, Stacey has been exclusively and vigorously representing victims of medical malpractice as counsel to Lipcon, Margulies & Alsina. Stacey is admitted to practice before the State Courts of Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Stacey's vast understanding of complex medical issues, derived from her medical background as a registered nurse, has distinguished her from other attorneys in the medical malpractice field who simply rely on non-lawyer doctors and nurses for medical information. In addition, Stacey works with qualified medical professionals in every case to ensure all medical issues are thoroughly explored. Stacey limits her representation to only a couple of cases at any given time so that she may remain completely focused on and dedicated to the complex medical issues that her cases regularly present. Having previously defended doctors and hospitals in medical malpractice actions and also being an accomplished registered nurse, she is able to bring her medical and legal experience to your case.
