Going on a cruise can be a big expense. Due to the fact that cruise lines offer everything from food to shopping to entertainment, it makes sense that the price tag can be pretty steep. Add in the fact that you may be traveling with a large group of people, and the cost can really soar!
So, before you book your cruise, it’s a wise idea to do your research. As a maritime law firm, we fully support making the most educated decision, in all situations. Although the saying may be “ignorance is bliss,” when it comes to your money that is definitely not the case.
Luckily, U.S. News & World Report believes in helping consumers make the most of their hard earned cash. As a result, they put together yearly “best of” lists that cover all aspects of society. The one that we’re particularly interested in is their “Best Cruise Lines for the Money” list. And, if you’re looking to spend your dollar wisely, then you probably will be, too.
To establish the rankings, U.S. News & World Report looked at a variety of factors. These included expert ratings, traveler ratings from Cruiseline.com and the CDC’s sanitation inspection scores. They then applied these criteria to 15 different cruise lines and tallied the score.
So, which cruise gives you your money’s worth? As it turns out, Celebrity Cruises came in at number one, followed by Royal Caribbean International, Norwegian Cruise Line and Carnival Cruise Line. But we recommend taking a look at the full list.
It Pays To Think Ahead
We can all agree that it really does pay to do your research before you depart. However, even the best-made plans, on the best-researched cruises, can go awry. The unfortunate truth is that, although a cruise may feel like it exists outside of reality, life does not happen in a vacuum.
You are still at risk for personal injury while you are on your vacation. So, it’s important to always be aware of your surroundings. And, should an accident or injury happen to you, you can rest assured that you do not have to handle your legal situation alone.
Choosing the right attorney in the wake of a tragedy can be a challenging task. Our firm has over 165 years of combined experience, making us well equipped to handle your case, against a cruise line at home or abroad.
Legal cases can be overwhelming for everyone involved. That’s why you owe it to yourself to have a trusted maritime attorney who will see you through, every step of the way.
So feel free to contact us. If you believe you have a case against a cruise line, or believe that you have been negatively impacted by an experience on your cruise, we’re ready to listen. When you schedule an initial consultation, we’ll hear your story. Then, we’ll work together to determine the best next step for you.
We strive to make your needs our top priority, and will help you get back to living your life.
