Peter Ridge is an active trial attorney and maritime lawyer, handling passenger personal injury claims, crew-member personal injury claims, crew-member contract claims, wrongful death claims, as well as non-maritime personal injury claims.
Mr. Ridge attended Sacred Heart University located in Fairfield, Connecticut, where he attained degrees in Business Administration and Business Economics, earning Cum Laude honors. While at Sacred Heart University, Mr. Ridge was a four-year member and senior captain of the NCAA Division I Lacrosse Team.
After graduating from Sacred Heart, Mr. Ridge attended St. Thomas University Law School located in Miami Gardens, Florida. While at St. Thomas, Mr. Ridge was an active member of the Moot Court Competition Team, St. Thomas Chapter of the Federal Bar, as well as the Peter T. Fay American Inn of Court. Mr. Ridge enjoyed success at St. Thomas earning Dean’s List honors and a Pro Bono Commendation. While earning his Juris Doctor degree, Mr. Ridge was an intern at the Miami-Dade Office of the State Attorney as well as a judicial intern for the Honorable John J. O’Sullivan, U.S. Magistrate for the Southern District of Florida.
Mr. Ridge began working with Lipcon, Margulies, Alsina & Winkleman, P. A. as a clerk in 2014 before joining as a maritime lawyer. He has been involved in numerous trials on behalf of individuals and families and has litigated multi-plaintiff lawsuits on behalf of passengers as well as crew-members.
Mr. Ridge is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is also a member of the Florida Bar.
