Cruise Ship Asbestos Claims

LMAW, P.A. has handled several of the only known Asbestos cases against the major cruise lines. There are several cruise ships no longer in service that are known or believed to have been laden with asbestos. These ships include: the Carnivale, Mardi Gras, Festivale and Tropicale. There were many other cruise ships in service in the 70s, 80s, and 90s which likely contained asbestos.

Asbestos is known to cause various cancers including lung cancer and mesothelioma. In most instances, the cancer appears 10 – 30 years after the initial exposure to the asbestos. If you or someone you know worked aboard an older cruise ship and was exposed to asbestos and was later diagnosed with some form of cancer, then contact us immediately.
