Florida-Based Maritime Law Firm
Lipcon, Margulies, Alsina & Winkleman, P.A., is located in downtown Miami, Florida. Our offices are situated in One Biscayne Tower, along South Biscayne Boulevard, and are less than half a mile from the Port of Miami’s main terminals. Our office building overlooks Miami’s cruise passenger facilities. Although we are based in Miami, we serve clients across the globe.
Our firm is just minutes away from one of the busiest passenger seaports in the world: PortMiami. PortMiami hosted over four million cruise passengers in 2012 alone. The facility’s seven cruise ship terminals are among the most modern in the world and include the ability to accommodate “mega ships” – ships capable of carrying 5,000 or more passengers. The terminal facility offers executive VIP lounges, a high-tech security screening facility, airline-style counters and an airport-type baggage conveyer system. The transportation facility also houses a one-stop federal multi-agency facility to process passengers. Passengers on any of the cruise lines served by PortMiami will find our offices conveniently located and within reach.
Our firm is also located only six blocks from the Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. United States Federal Courthouse Building, which houses the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. The federal courthouse facility provides accessible access to accommodate all clients who wish to attend hearings and trials.
Representing Clients Across the Globe
Our offices are also handicapped accessible and accommodations will be made for clients with accessibility concerns. Our One Biscayne Tower offices offer accessible parking and access to and from the entry level. Further special accommodations can be arranged by contacting our office in advance at 1-877-233-1238.
Our attorneys advise transient and foreign seafarers unions and injured cruise line employees regarding their rights to medical treatment, wages and all other compensation available under the law. If you require the assistance of a lawyer, we invite you to speak directly with one of the attorneys at our Florida-based firm.
