Meet Olivia Thompson, Lipcon, Margulies & Winkleman’s Resident Seattle Maritime Attorney

Olivia Thompson graduated cum laude from Roger Williams School of Law. She earned a Master of Marine Affairs as part of a joint degree program with the University of Rhode Island. She began her career as an attorney by working for a large Anchorage law firm (for which she was named a Rising Star). She earned the Alaskan indigenous people’s respect and trust through her efforts to integrate their culture into the legal system. As part of this effort, she established, co-founded, and served on numerous boards. 

In law school, Olivia was a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Catherine Easter in the Superior Court of Alaska, a Sea Grant Law Fellow, and volunteered with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
