Daniel Grammes

Daniel Grammes is a litigation attorney, handling passengers’ personal injury claims, crewmember claims, wrongful death claims, product liability claims, as well as non-maritime personal injury claims. Daniel graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Thomas University School of Law with his Juris Doctorate degree. He graduated in the top 5% of his class. While in law school he obtained Dean’s List Awards for every semester. In addition, he received the CALI Award for Excellence for his performance and mastery of Civil Procedure, Appellate Advocacy, Professional Responsibility, Payment Systems, and Conflicts of Law. During his law school tenure, he served as a Staff Editor of the St. Thomas Law Review where his article, “Protecting Florida’s Marine Life with Conservation Drones,” was published. Throughout his three years of law school, Daniel gained valuable legal experience clerking for several law firms in the Miami-Dade area and serving as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Thomas Logue in and for the Third District Court of Appeal.

Born and raised in Miami, Daniel completed his undergraduate studies at Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Amidst completing his Bachelor’s degree, he was able to gain extensive knowledge of seafaring vessels by way of working for South Florida boat manufacturers.

Daniel enjoys free time with his family and takes joy in participating in hobbies such as sport fishing, diving, traveling, snowboarding, and performing community service.
